Welcome to Holt Sites!

HoltSites.net is the official district website for personal teaching sites for Holt Public Schools. The entire site is built upon an open source web publishing system. This allows anyone within the district to easily create and maintain their own website to further the education of the students in our district regardless of web publishing knowledge.

How do I sign up for a website?

On the right hand side of this page there is a “Register” link (or you can click here) that will take you to the integrated registration process.

What if I already have signed up for a website?

If you already have a website you can log in via the “Log in” link on the right hand side of this page (or you can click here). This will take you to the dashboard for your website where you can start to  modify and add content.

What can I do with Holt Sites?

At the most basic level you can create a website with pages and/or blog posts that you can use to share information with your students anywhere they have internet access. You can also add media files (audio, document, pictures, etc) to your website for your students to access. Actually, the list for all things you can do with Holt Sites goes beyond what can be listed here.

If you need help learning to use your new site please check out the ongoing “How do I… ” tutorial section here.

Who do I contact if I have problems with Holt Sites?

If you run into any problems or errors while trying to use Holt Sites feel free to contact the IS Department (ext. 1109) and we would be more than happy to give you a hand.
